Focused on newly created percussion music, ARXIS Percussion Group was born with the aim of bringing the latest aesthetic currents around percussion to the Galician scene, in its solo, chamber music and ensemble expression. Likewise, ARXIS Percussion Group is committed to becoming a meeting platform for the different percussionists residing in Galicia.
Interdisciplinary creation, experimentation in the field of percussion, the creation of a new repertoire and didactic work thus become the central axis of the project.
The members of the ARXIS Percussion Group regularly collaborate with prestigious international orchestras such as the Amsterdam Concergebouworkest, the Galician Symphony Orchestra, the Orchester Philarmonique Royal de Liége, etc.
At the same time, they work actively in the main centers of current creation: Brussels, Amsterdam, Vienna or Madrid, developing their work both as a soloist and in different international ensembles.
